So in three weeks from today, right now, I’ll be in Boston. Which is kinda strange to think about, because add another twelve weeks and I’ll be home again. How’s that for being optimistic 😉 It’s getting close!
I don’t know really how to feel about being gone for three months. To be honest I try not to think about it much. Simply because I don’t want to come up with expectations that are so far up a pedestal they can never be reached. That’s about the fun part of the journey, but I’ve never been one to be home sick. I have to admit I have never been away from home more than a month, so that’s going to be an experience itself. Thank goodness for the internet and mobile phones and other state of the art modern technology we can use to keep in contact with home. It’ll be a long swim back home otherwise.
Nevertheless, they always say that time flies when having fun, and I have a busy journey ahead. Between my day of arrival in the US and a few days after Christmas everything has been sorted out already. I’m still waiting for some confirmations to fill in the rest of my program. Any tips on what I have to do while being on the West coast? Suggestions are more than welcome!
I’ve been collecting my stuff and packing my bag for the last week and a half. I still need to buy a few things and probably repack it all over again. But I reckon I’ll manage. That 58-liter bag will be filled to the top, no worries. My farewell party will also be in less than two weeks. Getting really excited!
I’m sure I’ll be posting another post before I’m off to the US!
